The Saint Paul Mural painted by Lynne Looney

The ST PAUL METHODIST CHURCH Mural in Columbus, GA. Over 300 linear feet long.....an "L" shaped hallway with classrooms on either side. The premise is that Noah's Ark has just landed. Noah and his family are featured on one wall giving thanks to God at a make shift alter. The style is very illustrative with a touch of whimsy...look closely and all female animals have long exaggerated eye lashes....even lady spiders....and lady manatee's. The pair of giraffe's necks wrap around opposite sides of the corner. All you see of the lady cheetah is her tail as she runs behind a bookcase. Scenes go from the Arctic to the ocean, a tropical island, the jungle, the plains of Africa, to Panda's and bulldogs and barnyard animals near the infant's room across the hall. They proceed to fresh water and swamps,  prairies, the mountains and back to Noah's family. There are class rooms for infants through 2ND grade in the area. Many of the animals are close to life size.
